WELCOME TO OUR "BLOG"

We just wanted to welcome everybody to our blog!!! Man, are we up to date or what? Anyway, feel free to visit our blog as many times as you wish. We are sure it will take a while for us to get aquainted with the whole blog gig but it sounds kinda fun. We will try to update it on a monthly basis. We want all of our friends and family to know what is going on with our clan. For the time being, this is the latest happenings with the family.

Ryan is serving a Mission in the Columbus Ohio mission. He has been out there for just about 15 months. He has just been made a trainer and is very excited about that. We got a cool letter from his Mission President this past week raving about what a great example he is and how important it is to be a trainer. Trainers will make the new missionaries become great missionaries. We are excited for him and his new roll in the mission field.

Shaylee got engaged about a month ago to one of her High School flames! He is a great kid and we are excited that he will be a part of our family. His name is Nick Miller and he is from Layton. Shaylee and Nick went to a couple of school dances together and we thought he was great kid then! I guess we have pretty good taste, huh? Shaylee is working for a physical therapist in Kaysville. She really seems to like her job and especially likes helping people. She is a great asset to the office.

Kristen in in her 4th year of cheerleading. She made the Northridge High squad for her Junior year. She was asked to be an officer on the squad so she will be very busy with that. She is in charge of all of the "MOTIVATIONAL" materials for the squad. If you have any great motivational quotes or thoughts, please send them our way. She will have a very busy summer. She has cheer camp for 4 days in late June-early July, then she goes to Especially For Youth at Utah State for a week. Then she goes to girls camp for about 4 days in Idaho, then she will go on the 24 mile TREK out in Wyoming!!! Can you say overload?????

In the meantime, Jeff and Karen will be up to their eyeballs in wedding planning, bills to pay, and when they get a moment, maybe a golf game or fishing trip. Time will tell us how much time we have available. So, this will be our initial posting. Please let us know how we are doing. Also, please let us know if there is something you would like to see. We will be loading a few pictures as time goes on. We just have to learn how to load them!!!! DUH!!!!
